What SabiHire is
SabiHire is a marketplace. Job seekers post profiles and CVs. Employers post vacancies. Everyone can see what's posted unless they choose not to.
Every vacancy is read by a person before it goes live. We reject multi-level marketing schemes, commission-only roles and anything that looks like a scam. We're not perfect, but we try.
If you're a job seeker, you do not pay to use SabiHire. You do not pay to apply. If an employer asks you for money — not now, not later — that's a scam and you should report it.
Job seeker rules
You promise:
- Your profile information is true
- Your CV is your own work or you have permission to use it
- You won't harassment or abuse anyone, here or elsewhere
- You won't post spam, links to malware, or anything illegal
Breaking these gets your account closed. If you're serious you can appeal within 30 days.
Employer rules
You promise:
- You're a real business in Nigeria, with CAC registration to prove it
- The vacancies you post are real and current
- You won't ask applicants for money in any form
- You won't post multi-level marketing schemes or commission-only roles
- You won't collect applications and then ignore them
Every vacancy is checked by a real person. Anything that looks dodgy is rejected and you'll get the reason. You can fix it and post again.
If you break these rules your account is closed and you lose your plan fee.
Our plans
SabiHire Free lets you post one vacancy at a time. SabiHire Pro lets you post up to five, and includes a CV writing credit. Prices are on the pricing page.
Plans renew every month. You can cancel anytime before renewal and you won't be charged again. If you cancel mid-month you're not refunded for the time left.
Refunds
- If we fail to deliver a feature you paid for, email us and we'll refund that period
- We don't refund because a vacancy didn't get applicants, or an application didn't get a reply - we sell access to the marketplace, not outcomes
- Accounts closed for breaking the employer rules above are not refunded
Things we don't promise
- That you'll get a job, or that you'll fill a role
- That every employer or candidate is exactly who they say they are - we verify what we reasonably can, and we investigate reports
- That the site is available without interruption
Use your judgement. Never pay anyone for a job. If an employer on SabiHire asks you for money, report it and we will act.
Ending things
You can close your account whenever you like - email us and we'll delete it. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless there's a legal reason not to.
Liability
SabiHire is provided as it is. To the extent Nigerian law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses arising from using the site - for example lost earnings from a job you didn't get, or a hire that didn't work out. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
